The service provides detailed insights to support four key value drivers - Sustainability, Economy, Optimisation, and Peace of Mind.
Purpose of processing
The primary purposes of processing are:
Inventory and administration
Real-time and historical location
Simple, compliant mileage claims (including Driver ID)
Improve driver safety and performance
Track utilisation and emissions
Automate servicing and inspection schedules
Monitor and cut fleet-related costs
Aid theft recovery and loss prevention
Project and site management and resource allocation
Monitor toll usage and costs
Under no circumstances must the service be used contrary to the purpose of the service in any way that exceeds the purpose of the service or is for dishonest purposes.
Duration of processing
Data processing is conducted for the duration that the customer has an associated service or feature enabled. Processing ceases upon termination or deactivation.
Type of processing
ABAX stores and processes data to deliver the services offered. Customers have full access and transparency through user interfaces, allowing them to monitor and manage their fleet data effectively.
Types of personal data to be processed
The following personal data types are processed (related to the service and/or data source):
Location data: Time stamps, GPS coordinates, trip details, altitude, and heading
Vehicle data: Registration number and associated vehicle details (make, model, fuel type, VIN, engine size, CO2 emissions) and mileage, leasing, insurance and inspection details
User data: User IDs, name, email, mobile number, ID card/tag
Driving event data: Acceleration, braking, cornering, idling and speeding
Categories of data subjects
Customer and Customer's employees (admins and users).
