Morten Strand - CEO
Morten is a seasoned IT executive with over 30 years of leadership experience. Morten was recently CEO at Cint in Sweden and led the company to become a global leader in the market research space. Before that, Morten served as COO at Visma Software and helped the company to double both top and bottom line through M&A and organic growth. Before joining Visma, Morten spent 15 years at IBM in various leadership roles in Europe and the Nordics. Morten has a BA in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
David Norton - Chief Finance Officer
David joined ABAX in 2018 as CFO. He has more than 14 years of experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses, 10 of which in telematics with Fleetmatics. Before that, David worked in various finance roles with American and French multi-nationals. His experience includes IPO, follow-on offerings, and acquisitions across the globe. David has an MBA from the University of Wales.
Paul Walsh - Chief Technology Officer
Paul joined ABAX in 2018 with 20 years of experience in the technology space focusing on the telematics sector. Paul worked as the Head of R&D at the Irish publicly listed telematics company Fleetmatics. Most recently, he worked in the private equity space on various large acquisitions focusing on due diligence as well as establishing efficient, results-driven technology teams. Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing as well as an Executive Leadership Certificate from MIT Cambridge.
Bruce Atle Karlsen - Chief Performance Officer
Atle has 25 years of experience in international organisations leading large-scale operations in Asia, the US, Africa and Europe. He joined ABAX in 2016 and has led the Performance and Compliance section since. Atle has a Master of Development Economics from UEA as well as an MBA from Oslo School of Leadership Studies (BI).
Sofia Toll - Chief Marketing Officer
Sofia joined ABAX in 2022 as a Senior marketing executive with solid leadership experience within highly-matrixed, high-tech B2B corporations. A passion for driving coherent communication throughout the customer journey to activate the company brand. Successful record of growing pipeline and revenue through differentiated customer engagements and strategic partnerships.
