Override address overview

 If the automatically applied address on trips starting or ending in a specific area isn’t 100% accurate or you simply wish to define it yourself, this setting allows you to define the address. We recommend that you do not override the address of a large area as this might cause incorrect data. 

  • Geofence areas are managed through the ‘Map’, open the ‘Map’ menu: https://abax.cloud/central/map/  
  • Your existing geofences are listed in the left-hand banner under the “Geofences” tab. 

  •  The icon

    will show if notifications are enabled for the geofence and the icon

    direction from a to b

    will show if automatic purposes or address override is enabled.

  • You can use the free text field to search for a specific geofence or scroll through the list.  
  • Clicking on any geofence will show the area on the map.  
  • Click the ‘Edit’ button by ‘Address override’  and enter the desired address.  
  • Click ‘update’ to save.  
  • Now any time an asset start or stops in this area the purpose will be automatically changed in your reports.
